1 carton Button Portobello Mushrooms
Herbed Organic Cream Cheese
Ground Sausage (If desired)
Mozzarella Cheese
Fresh Basil (If desired)

Mushrooms are low in carbs and provide important nutrients, including selenium, potassium, vitamin D, and several B vitamins

1. Separate the stems from the mushrooms and discard. Wash mushrooms thoroughly.

2. Soften the cream cheese by stirring in a bowl.

3. Cook the ground sausage in a shallow pan until done. Drain grease.

4. Mix it all together and stuff mixture into the mushrooms.

5. Bake until tender and golden. Garnish with basil leaves.
