Fried Cabbage and Bacon
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1. In a medium size skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the bacon and set it aside.
2. Put the cabbage in the skillet with the bacon drippings and cook, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes until tender. Return the bacon to the pan, add the salt and pepper and continue cooking for five more minutes. Serve immediately.
